NStyle International, the parent company that owns the premium grooming brands NStyle Nail Lounge, Urban Male Lounge & NStyle Nail Care, was established by its CEO & founder Lama Bazzari in Bahrain in December 2001 after she spotted a niche in the market for premium grooming concepts that were luxurious yet affordable.
A decade later NStyle International is recognized as one of the region's largest organically grown companies managed by a female entrepreneur with 15 branches spanning Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan and the UAE; offering premium beauty services to the over 40,000 male & female customers that walk into the companies stores on a monthly basis. Such figures position NStyle International as a definite market leader and setting an industry benchmark as evident in the numerous accolades and prestigious awards the company has received to date.
Further testament to the brand positioning is its premium store locations that are strategically located adjacent to global luxury fashion brands in the region’s leading shopping destinations, designed to cater to the A/B male & female consumers and to further cement the brand signature – luxury pampering, convenient & premium locations & unrivalled service.
As the brand footprint continues to expand rapidly, the company is inundated with franchise requests from Europe, Asia and the MENA region. The company is on track to achieving its ambitious goal of doubling its stores by 2013 via wholly owned and franchised stores and entering new markets regionally and internationally. Lama’s innovative acumen and creative vision, is attributed as the force behind the flourishing success of NStyle International that presently employs a 40 strong senior management team based at the company’s corporate office in Dubai that offer full support to the over 500 staff that work across the companies stores.
Lama is sought after regularly to speak and attend industry, business and entrepreneurial events regionally and internationally and acts as a mentor to women across the region who are seeking to set up their own businesses or enhance their careers. Lama believes whole heartedly in empowering other women to succeed and get ahead in their careers leading them to play a proactive role in bettering their communities and to that effect has launched an official program of corporate social responsibility appropriately named Give N Style that has overseen the company’s active involvement in offering under privileged women across the region with micro loans and teaching them basic beauty skills in an effort to lift them out of poverty. Over 1000 women have participated and successfully launched small businesses of their own that allow them to break out of the vicious cycle of poverty and become active participants in the livelihood of their own families which in essence advances the livelihood of entire communities.
In March 2011, Lama successfully launched her own nail polish and beauty retail line which is retailed across the company’s stores and successfully entered into beauty distribution by supplying regional beauty suppliers and wholesalers, hence tapping into the multibillion dollar beauty distribution industry and competing head to head with global brands. Manufactured by a leading nail polish manufacturer in the USA and using the latest certified technologies, the nail polishes were developed with chip resistance, flawless coverage and a long lasting glossy finish in mind. A testament to the brand’s quality and instant recognition was its bronze win in the prestigious VIVA Beauty Awards under the Best Nail Lacquer category within one month of launch.
To coincide with the launch of its new and award winning NStyle nail polish brand, Lama introduced two nail polish colors named after two charities close to Lama’s heart- Dubai Cares and the Palestinian Children Relief Fund with 100% of retail proceeds going towards these worthwhile causes. Lama will continue to ensure that NStyle International incorporates innovation as its route to meaningful charitable engagement while spearheading its mentorship programs as the company expands into new markets aligning business expansion with advancing her Give N Style CSR platform with the objective of contributing for a better society.
